Our groups are kept small to ensure that everybody has time with the guide for a truly personal experience.
A moderate level of fitness is required to be able to participate in the majority of activities offered.
This is a camping adventure and we encourage people to sleep under the stars but do have shelter for those who aren’t keen for this experience.
Day one
Meet your new Rockstars family direct from your flights at the Ayers Rock Airport. We head straight into the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park at 2pm for your first glimpses of our magnificent rock and an introduction to the area and it’s culture from your guide. As the day draws to a close we head to watch the breathtaking glow and colour changes over Uluru at our sunset viewing area. Camp is just a short drive from here where you can settle in to your safari tents and have a nice hot shower while your guide prepares dinner. Sit around the fire underneath a million stars to share more stories and reflect on the afternoons adventures before retiring to your safari tent for a cozy nights sleep.
Day Two
We wake early for breakfast at camp before a scenic drive across the National Park towards the mysterious changing shapes of Kata Tjuta. Wandering at sunrise between the enormous domes at the Valley of the Winds you’ll feel like you’re walking on a different planet. This offers some of our most incredible photo opportunities and you’ll learn about the desert’s flora and fauna with your guide. We take a picnic lunch at the viewing area and head back towards Uluru for an afternoon of cultural activities with an Anangu guide. At the end of today you have the option for a quiet sunset at a secluded dune behind our camp or the space to book yourself on Field of Lights or the amazing new Wintjiri Wiru drone show. Enjoy another magical evening under the stars.
Day Three
Today is an early start for a picnic breakfast inside the National Park and sunrise over Uluru from a secluded area away from the crowds. Sip your tea or coffee as you feel the warmth and light returning to the desert around you. Once the sun has returned it’s your chance to begin the Uluru base walk with your fellow travellers and follow the ancient songlines of Kuniya, Liru and the Mala people. Once you’ve completed your adventure through the Red Centre we take a few final moments to reflect and say our goodbyes to Uluru. Our tour concludes back at the Ayers Rock Airport by midday in perfect time for connecting flights and your journey back to civilization..
